I have been up since the crack of dawn clearing the wooden kitchen tops for oiling before Christmas.  All cleared, all cleaned and then to my horror the hardwax oil has gone solid in the tin.  Back to square one.  My tin is eighteen years old so perhaps it shouldn't be surprising.  Thank you glorious google for finding a replacement...  I try to be diligent about oiling the wooden table and surfaces.  Is it really necessary?  if you have any thoughts, do let me know.  And, for those of you who are interested, my new oil is from the decoratingcentre.com.
